Andy Murray: Top Players Pay Tribute On Retirement Announcement

A Tearful Murray Announced The Retirement
Andy Murray announced that he plans to retire and the Australian Open could be his last tournament.

Roger Federer says he is 'shocked' and Djokovic felt 'hurt' at the decision as they paid tribute to a 'great champion' and 'rival'.

Rafael Nadal said that 'suffering' Murray did the 'right thing'.

"When you are going on court without a clear goal because you cannot move well and you have pain, then it is the time to take a decision," Nadal said.

"He will be a big loss for tennis."

Murray claimed three Grand Slam titles in his illustrious career and reached world number one ranking in 2016. He plays Roberto Bautista Agut in Melbourne on Monday.
