''' Oh -BOY! O'BOY : SOME MBA-S' :

THESE HARVARD MAVERICKS '''

Just One Toot Of The Horn:

In a public discourse a Wharton and an MIT graduate took me on. They lost on -Gazinto Charts-/

They graced the honour by holding a dinner for me. And by the way, no ''dinner'' has ever tasted better!

So, let's share up your spirit of adventure, as we return to the post:

Like, Meyers, architect, designer  and model Pablo Abellan Villastrigo is no stranger to juggling the various disciplines needed in order to rise above others in his chosen field.

After completing a  masters in architecture at Oxford and the Royal College, he worked on projects for Michael Hopkins Architects while juggling a modelling career and founding his own design company.

In-between modelling assignments, he found himself working on more unofficial commissions for celebrities, fashion editors and urban start-ups. This eventually led him to Manhattan where he was to have the most exhilarating experience of his working life.

''As at the taxi pulled up on 72nd street and stopped outside the Dakota building I hadn't really realised where I was going but by the time the lift doors opened on the seventh floor I realised that it was going to be very special.

Seeing the home of two of the most influential artists of the last century  [John Lennon and Yoko Ono] had a huge impact on my creative life and made me question whether form should always follow function.''

Bringing this kind of flair to business is something only the top level of entrepreneur can do  -Peter Leiman, with a background in finance, aviation and government is one of them.

As a mergers and acquisitions investment banker at UBS Warburg, he advised  FTSE  100 companies on strategy and led a team involved in the start-up of an Asian Low-cost airline.

He was also one of President Clinton's most respected advisors as part of the advance staff at the White House in 2000.

Naturally, he gained his MBA from Harvard and is the co-founder and now managing director of   Blink  -Europe's first air-taxi service.

Carrying up to four passengers, Blink jets provide access to more than 600 destinations through out Europe  -coupling all the obvious benefits of private air travel  -door-to-door service and no chavs in tracksuits sitting next to you-  at prices competitive with commercial business class.

Drawing up on his considerable reserves of passion, commitment and acumen, Peter says his most exciting moments to date was raising $30 million to start Blink   -then being left in charge to run the company with his co-founder.

''After seeing more than 60 different investors, ranging from angel investors to institutional private equity and venture capitalists, we finally identified three European investors who funded us.

It was daunting, but at the same time exhilarating to be left in charge and empowered to run the business considering that we had no aviation and management experience    -and we're fresh out of business school.''

So whether you are at school, college, or university; So whether you work in an office, a studio or up a mountain yourself, you can be your own real action hero :  !WOW!
