"To Be Or Not To Be"
Respectful dedication to all Modern Men!

The cover of Manthropology features the six stages of the evolution of man. There's a hunched up little monkey man. Then a monkey who has learnt to standup straight. Then a slightly larger man who has had his body waxed. Then a heavily muscled man -hardly a monkey at all- sporting a big beard. And then the real star of our species - a naked gladiator with big biceps, a big shield and even sword etc. And finally, oh dear, -modern man. A flabby little man-boobed slob, hunched over his ''palm held device.'' That for sure is you and me.

Except that it is not you and it is not me, or is it!!? We all so very on and off play with hand held devices. So it is not even a snapshot. It is not even the frame -but it is hardly the whole picture. Every generation, it is a fact, is softer than the one before.

This is what your parents or your elders would often be heard saying to you. So measuring against your father or your elders may be hard and even hurting. And in all the developing countries, this particular fact, and the memory out to be very very pointed and fresh. But get one thing very straight, that ''as men have evolved, we have discovered that just being tough is simply not enough!!'' This is the rock bottom of the wisdom.

But lest we get too sentimental about ourselves, let me add more of the other opinions. But after examining the 20,000 year old fossilised footprints of an Aboriginal man chasing a Kangaroo, McAllister suggests that this unknown hunter was almost as fast as the outer extremities of supermen!! Ah, but remember this hunter man did not have ''nike air cushioned '' shoes. The long lost Aboriginal was not a world Olympic beater. He was simply out chasing his lunch and fulfilling his survival needs. So is the ability to chase a Kangaroo, really the way to measure the worth of modern man??

And, and The pitiful decline of modern men goes down particularly well with female newspaper columnists between the ages of 40 and 60 who have been unlucky in love. Writing for the 'Mail On Sunday' Liz Jones goes for a stab to the heart ''What poor, sad creatures modern men are,'' she gleefully laments. And adds,''What wimps. What waste of space!!'' Hahaha!

So don't miss morrow, dear readers, as we really turn it on.
Have a great Weekend!! Goodnight and God Bless.
