London,Oct 5: 3 Pakistani cricketers driven by greed, took bribes to fix parts of the match against England, a prosecutor told London Court.

They were involved in spot-fixing during the 4th test at  Lord's in Aug 2010, when Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Amir deliberately bowled three no-balls at a pre-agreed time, prosecutor alleged. Only Salman Butt and M.Asif were present at the trial, while Muhammad Amir ul Mazhar majeed ( Salman Butt's agent) was absent at Southwark Crown Court.

"This case reveals a depressing tale or rampant corruption at the heart of International cricket, with the key players being members of the Pakistan Cricket Team." Prosecutor Aftab Jaffarjee told the jury.

Pakistani nation says it's a betrayal to the whole nation and demanding from Govt. strict punishment for them.
