NOW THAT'S DIGITAL SECURITY

Password security systems are a piece of cake for HACKERS. Many people still rely on easily guessed system of VARIATIONS of birth dates and phone numbers. Systems that recognise finger prints are harder to hack. Scientists have now made a postage stamp-size silicon chip that fits on a keyboard key. With just 300-odd bytes of data, your finger image is copied and then turned into a complete mathematical pattern whose solution lies in the combination of Angles in the lines of the finger. Since the template exists only on the chip, hackers would have Zero joy in searching databases. The chip could be hard to hack but not impossible.
