Brown Passes California Dream Act

In a major development this Saturday, Governor Jerry Brown signed the second part of the California Dream Act, allowing undocumented immigrant students to apply for financial aid funded by the state. According to Brown, the act will allow students to get a chance "to improve their lives and the lives of all of us." The first part of the bill was signed this July granting students access to aid from private sources.
