A meeting of Higher Education Commission's Social Science Committee on History, presided over by Professor Dr S. Qalb-i-Abid ,was organised by Punjab University Study Center.Discussions regarding improvement of syllabi of History,Pakistan Studies and Social Sciences were carried out. Research Journals were reviewed and it was decided that "dichotomies and discrepancies" be removed from the existing syllabi, plus new teaching methodologies such as video conferencing be introduced.
