Criticism on Plan to Reward Students Having Poor Schooling

The Assessment and Qualifications Alliance Britain has outlined proposals to rank A-level students according to the institutions they attend, inviting heavy criticism from various areas of expertise including ministers and heads of educational institutions.
According to the said proposals, above-average students from relatively weaker schools would be given added marks in order to make up for the extra effort they have made as opposed to those who have had better schooling.
The government rejected the plan saying that the proposed reforms tended to reward underperformance.
