DUBLIN : Chinelle Henry's all-round performance helped West Indies beat Pakistan 25 runs on Friday as they recorded their second consecutive win in the women's T20 International tri-series here at the Castle Avenue ground.
West Indies started off in the event with an emphatic eight wicket victory against Ireland on Thursday.
Chasing 200, Pakistan were restricted to 174-8 in the allotted 20 overs through cameos from Aliya Riaz. [ 37 ], Saira Jabeen [ 30 ] and a 14-ball 27 from Fatima Sana.
Henry was named player-of-the-match for her 17 ball 33 not out - laced with four fours and a six - while batting at No. 6.
Later the medium pacer excelled with the leather as well removing Muneebs Ali and Ayesha Zafar within the first four overs to restrict Pakistan early.
With 59 needed off the last 18 balls, Fatima struck two sixes and a four in a space of four balls across 18th and 19th overs but eventually fell after Pakistan required 32 off the final over.
Apart from Henry's two for 13, Shawnisha Hector dismissed two batters, while Munisar and Claxton picked up a wicket each.
