' Safety for Girls ' : The safety of girls in all schools has become a matter of serious concern.

In recent times, several troubling incidents have left both students and parents feeling anxious about the security of female students - both within school premises and on their to and from school.

Every girl has the right to pursue her education in a safe and secure environment.

To make this possible immediate steps must be taken, including the construction of proper boundary walls, the appointment of trained security guards and the installation of CCTV cameras throughout school premises.

Regular safety drills and a clear system for reporting incidents should also be put in place so that students know they will be heard and protected.

Safe and reliable transportation must be arranged for students who commute long distances, as the journey to and from school is often where many feel most vulnerable.

!WOW! urges all governments to take strong and decisive action to ensure the safety of all students across every country.

Every girl deserves the freedom to learn without fear, and it is the responsibility of those in power to make that a reality.
