RE '' BACK TO THE ROOTS '' [ Nov-10 ] : Emily Rauhala's moving story of Yi Jiefang and her struggle to help make China a greener place is a stark reminder that we have to give nature time and space to repair itself.

To give it that space, the global community needs a concerted effort by leaders from all societies to reduce human population numbers and adopt a steady-state economy.
