HARRY POTTER CAST : 19 YEARS FRANCHISE

Tom Felton hosted the virtual meet-up with others joining in. The last of Harry Potter reunited recently virtually to celebrate the 19th anniversary of the franchise's very first first film, Harry Potter and the Sorceres's Stone, delighting fans around the globe, reported E1 News.

The live event was hosted by Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in the franchise, via the platform Veeps, using the [hashtag] 19Years Later to celebrate the film's legacy.

Joining Felton was Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe; Rupert Grint, who starred as Ron; James and Oliver Phelps, who played Ron's brothers Fred and George; Evanna Lynch, who portrayed Luna Lovegood -

Mark Williams, who played Ron's dad Arthur; Jason Isaacs, who portrayed Draco's father and Deatheater Luciius; Bonnie Wright, who played Harry's eventual wife and Ron's sister Cinny; and How to Get Away With Murder star Alfred Enoch, who played Hogwarts' golden boy Dean Thomas.

During the session, the entire cast talked about the fun moments from the sets of the film that started it all, including all the Harry Potter films and in 2016 expanding J.K. Rowling's magical universe with the spin-off film franchise. Fantastic Beasts, starring Eddie Redmayne.

Earlier this week, the cast had congratulated Grint on the birth of his daughter. Grint had joined Instagram to post a photo of his baby, which leads his former costars to congratulate him in the comments.

One comment came from James. The other comment came from Felton. ''Welcome Weasley, it's about time. Love to Wednesday,'' Felton said.

In the post, the 32-year-old joked in the caption that he is ''10 years late'' to joining the social media platform that so many use to feel connected with celebrities.

One day after creating his account, his follower count is at 2.7 million - and climbing.
