Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex and former US actor, used to have a lifestyle blog called The Tig where she shared her favorite recipes, style tips, influencers she loves and much more.

Though the website became defunct in 2017, the Internet has been able to find list of books that she is fond and once recommended everyone to read.

Markle had shared a list of five books she called ''the badass reading list,'' With that, she had written, ''A badass is someone who is strong of spirit, brave and fearless, self-aware yet selfless, and always striving to be the best version of themselves.''

And we couldn't agree more. So, as compiled from Pinkvilla, here are the five books that Markle swears by.

This is a manifesto in which the author urges the reader to set aside their self-defeating habits and find within themselves the strength to replace those feelings with motivation and positivity.

4.- ''The Four Agreements'' by Don Miguel Ruiz.

The novel is considered a practical guide to personal freedom. It explains how you can break free from the societal structures and make new agreements with yourself to truly set yourself free and live in peace.

5.- ''Who Moved My Cheese?'' By Dr. Spencer Johnson.
