FROM superhero sequels to live-action Disney remakes to animated wonders, there's a lot to look forward to at the movies in 2019.

Throw in famed director Quentin Tarantino's mystery crime dramas and a new adaption of Stephen King's Pet Sematary next year's cinematic offerings seem too good to be true for movie lovers.

Following are the most anticipated films of 2019:

 Avengers : Endgame. In the aftermath of Thanos wiping out half of all life in the universe, the remaining Avengers must do what's necessary to undo the Mad Titan's  deed. Starring Robert Downey Jr. Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Bendict Cummberbatch, 'Avengers : Endgame' is not only the most anticipated films of this year but ever.

'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'. A faded TV actor and his stunt double embark on an odyssey to make a name for themselves in the film industry during the Helter Skelter reign of terror in 1969 Los Angeles.

Starring Hollywood stars, Lenardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Kurt Russell and Marggot Robbie and directed by Quentin Tarantino, 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is certainly one of the most awaited films of 2019.

''The Lion King'' Apparently another  ''live action'' remake of Disney's classic, but infact a photorealisticc  CGI rendering in the recent Jungle Book style [with which The Lion King shares director Jon Favereau].

Donald Glover voices Simba. the princely cub, while Chiwetel Ejiofor is mean old Scar, the lionly uncle  who is out to grab the throne for himself.

''Dumbo'' : A young elephant, whose oversized ears enable him to fly, helps save a struggling circus, but when the circus plans a new venture, Dumbo and his friends discover dark secrets beneath its shiny veneer.

''Pet Sematary'' : Louis Creed, his wife, Rachel and their two children Gaga and Ellie move to a rural home where they are welcomed and enlightened about the eerie 'Pet Sematary' located near their home.

After the tragedy of their cat being killed by a truck, Louis resorts to burying it in the mysterious pet cemetery, which is definitely not as it seems, as it proves to the creed that sometimes, dead is better.

''Aladdin'' : A live action retelling of the 1992 Disney Film of the same name. Directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Naomi Scott, Mena Massoud, Will Smith, it is one of the most anticipated films of 2019.

''Toy Story 4'' : When a new toy called  ''Forky'' joins Woody and the gang, a road trip alongside old and new friends reveals how big the world can be for a toy.
