Mental health can effect our daily life, relationships, and physical health
According to W.H.O mental health is a state of wellbeing in which the individual realizes his abilities can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work truthfully and productively, and is able to make a contribution to his community
Now W.H.O stresses that mental health “is not just the absence of mental disorder”
The most common disorders of mental illness are:-
• Anxiety disorder
• Mood disorder
• schizophrenia disorder
Anxiety disorders are the most common in mental illness
Like Panic disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder and phobias and these may jnclude simple phobias like social phobia hydrophobia agoraphobia and so on..
The mood disorders refers to depressive disorders.
Patient with these conditions have significant changes in their moods
Examples of mood disorders include:-
• Major depression
• Bipolare disorder
• Seasonal effect disorder
• persist depressive disorder
Early signs of mental disorder may include
• Showing apathy in the social life
• Sleeping or eating too much or to little
• Consistently low energy
• Confusion
• Having sducidal thoughts
If you feel such things you can help yourself by reducing drugs and alcohol addictions , and eating properly and sleeping well
