''MALALA YUSAFZAI : THE HONOURED NATIVE''

ISLAMABAD/PAKISTAN : Almost six years after Swat's bravest daughter had to be airlifted for emergency surgery following an assassination attempt,

Malala Yusafzai - has come back home to a rousing honor and welcome. The World Students Society joins the standing applause, and wishes her the very best.

Her return marks a significant victory over the extremist elements in Pakistan, and gives every credence to the very many sacrifices the nation has made over the last decade and a half.

On Oct 9, 2012 the Taliban attacked her as she was riding a bus home, The bullet went through her head and neck, grazing her brain as it ended up in her shoulder.

Malala's activism dates back to 2008, when she was just 11 years old. The Taliban had gained control of the Swat Valley and imposed a ban on girls education.

But then time passes, And the rest is all History of which the world knows just too well.

Clad in traditional Pakistani dress, Malala - the Nobel Laureate, was just overjoyed to be back home even for a few days. She spoke of Pakistan's immense potential to  transform into a peaceful, modern state.

For this she urged the nation, the political parties and provinces to shun their differences and unite for the progress of the country.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi assured her that the government of Pakistan, the people of Pakistan, stand with her.
