Human Rights Violations in past five years. And according to data of National Police Bureau, 1,169 cases were reported from Islamabad only.

Responding to the complaints 174,110 accused were arrested during the said period, figures revealed by the bureau show.

The data compiled by NPB revealed that nature of these cases included :

Murder, honor killing, kidnapping, sexual assault, acid attack, violence against women and children, among other violations.

The data was obtained by the Ministry of Human Rights, the inspector general of police [IGP] offices concerned and relevant police departments.

According to data:

1,169 cases were reported from Islamabad, 109,031 cases from Punjab,  10,967 from Sindh, 4,607 cases from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and 3,760 from Balochistan, officials documents available with reporters stated. [Agencies]
