'10,989 STUDENTS BENEFITED FROM SCHOLARSHIPS'

Pakistan : Sindh Provincial Minister for Education and Literacy has said that the Edowment Fund created in 2002-3.

With the objective of providing financial assistance to the students hailing from low income groups to-Acquire Higher Education in prestigious institutions has really flourished.

10,989 students have benefited from this program and in this regard.......... Rs. 1750 million have been spent.

During one recent meeting, it was also agreed that for the future:

10% of the allocated amount of  Endowment Fund Scholarship would be kept for those needy and eligible students who had secured admission in Foreign universities.
