Tennis: Djokovic retains Indian Wells title

World number one Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer 6-3 6-7 (5-7) 6-2 in the BNP Paribas Open final.

The Serb had dominated the opening set but the Swiss capitalised on three double faults from Djokovic to claim the second. Djokovic then composed himself to outshine Federer for his 50th ATP title.

The pair also met in last year's Indian Wells final in which Djokovic had triumphed. They now both have four Indian Wells title.
