UNB students protest over strike

Students say it's time for striking faculty and university administration to 'get back to the table'

University of New Brunswick students demonstrated across the province on Friday, in a bid to get striking faculty members and the university administration back to the bargaining table.

About 550 full-time professors, teaching staff and librarians walked off the job nearly two weeks ago over wages and working conditions.

The two sides remain far apart and no new talks are scheduled.

Students say they are the ones suffering and it was time to take a stand.
