How many times have you met people who wouldn't reply in a normal tone? Eyebrows raised, conceit etched in every corner of their face (which I might I say looks uglier if and when you happen to get a normal answer), such people are never able to gain any sort of respect.
Mistake me not; the behaviour here is characteristically haughty. There are many people who are taken to be arrogant (whereas they most certainly aren't, that's just another personality type, one that's more reserved) for their habit of staying more to themselves and replying in monologues. The column today on the other hand refers to the handful of vane i-don't-know-you's found in every school, college, university and workplace.
For these I just have one piece of advice: try comparing yourselves with those who are more inviting, more welcoming and see the respect that they command over the hearts of those around them! Good luck Deconceiting (if you are concerned that is!)
