Comedian Patrice O'Neal Died at 41


Patrice Lumumba Malcolm Oneal, better known by his stage name "Patrice O'Neal" was an American comedian, radio personality, and actor died this Tuesday morning due to the complications of a stroke that he suffered on October 1, 2011. The death was confirmed by his co-star on, "The Opie & Anthony Show."

O'Neal began his comedy career in his native Boston at an open mic at Estelle's Bar and Grill in October 1992. In the late 1990s, he moved to New York City, where he became a regular at the Comedy Cellar. Although he was best known for his work as a stand-up comedian but also appeared in several films like 25th Hour, Scary Movie 4 and Furry Vengeance.
