Students - The Frustrated lot

An 18 year old student of Kinniard College for Women, Samar Wasti was murdered by a 22 year old boy Shams Alam  at a pedestrian Bridge in front of her college.The latter committed suicide seconds after committing the crime.

Express Tribune reports:
Samar Wasti, 19, an intermediate in computer sciences student at KC, was talking to her father over cell phone to complain about Shams Alam, 23, who had stopped her on the bridge when the latter took out an automatic pistol and fired five shots at her...Assistant Sub Inspector Riffat Bukhari said the deceased had been schoolfellows at Cathedral School. She said the two had been in contact ever since and that Alam had been trying to persuade Wasti to marry him.

While the reason stated is the boy getting frustrated over some issue of marriage, Geo News showed a video clip whereby both students' families deny even knowing each other.

Kinniard College observed a holiday on Tuesday and has postponed farewell functions.
