Well known Pakistani players named as culprits

London, Oct 10: Agent Mazhar Majeed alleged that some of Pakistan's best players were involved in spot-fixing.
The jury at Southwark Crown court was played recordings of the conversation between the agent and the journalist Mazhar Mehmood, posing as Indian Businessman organising a tournament in UAE.
“It’s been happening for centuries. It’s been happening for years. Wasim, Waqar, Ijaz Ahmed, Moin Khan — they all did it,”the agent said.
Agent Majeed also alleged that Australian cricketers were “the biggest” culprits and fixed parts of the match. He said “The Australians, they are the biggest. They have 10 brackets a game.”
Agent Majeed told the journalist that he managed 10 Pakistani players, two Indian players, Australian fast bowler Nathan Bracken and West Indian all-rounder Chris Gayle.
The trial continues...
