UK ANNOUNCES $1 BILLION AID FOR OUR EDUCATION SECTOR

Britain's Department of International Development ( DFID ) has announced over $1 Billion aid for the Education Sector, but the allocation of the UK funds will be determined after the education reform plans for every province are submitted. Over the next 4 years DFID will be supporting teacher training, improvement of text-books, monitoring and evaluation systems, and better management & administration. In the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, it will be spent thru government budgets. In terms of capacity, Punjab & Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can absorb these funds, BALOCHISTAN CANNOT.
