UAF Setting Up Three New Institutes

 University of Agriculture Faisalabad has announced setting up of three institutes and a community college,at a meeting of Academic Council.

Faculty of Agri-Economics and Rural Sociology was renamed as the faculty of Social Sciences. Faculty of Social Sciences consists of three institutes, Institute of Business Management Sciences, Institute of Extension and Rural Development and Institute of Agriculture Resources Economics.

 Institute of Extension and Rural Development will further consist of three departments, namely Rural Sciences, Population Sciences and Agri-Extension Sciences.  Institute of Agriculture Resources Economics will have Agri-Economics, Environment and Resource Economics and Development Economics. Institute of Home Economics will have four departments, Clothing and Textile, Food and Nutition, Women Development and Gender Studies and Art and Design Department.
