Rallies leave traffic in chaos

LAHORE, Oct 27: Traffic remained in a mess in downtown Lahore on Thursday because of the rallies of singer Abrarul Haq and college teachers, creating a great deal of inconvenience for people.


Traffic police had blocked all roads leading to Nasser Bagh from where the singer was to start his rally in the morning, asking people to use alternate routes.
The problem started when college teachers took out their rally from the MAO College to the Civil Secretariat, where they staged a sit-in. This blocked traffic around the venue for quite some time.
The rally of the singer that followed added to the problem.
