Professor Asks Stuttering Student Not to Speak

A history professor at the County College of Morris told 16-year old Philip Garber Jr. to save his questions for after class so as not to infringe upon other students' time. Bette Simmons, vice president of student development, believes that the professor, Elizabeth Synder, should have asked other students to be patient. Garber, meanwhile, has been transferred to another section. No reports of any disciplinary action against Synder have surfaced yet.
