Indiana School Goes Digital

Schools in Indiana District have replaced the traditional textbooks-in-class culture with laptops for all students. The initiative shall help students gain skills in technology and build up a general interest for the use of gadgets.

The transformation, which cost $1.1 million for infrastructure, involved rewiring not just classrooms but also the mindset of students, teachers and parents. When teachers started hearing that “the server ate my homework,” they knew a new era had begun. 

Students, allotted a laptop each at $150 rental fee will not be allowed to use any other PCs.
