Both countries remained mired in problems for the first 2.5 decades but since, India's educational performance has started to overtake Pakistan's in every sphere conceptual group, planning, and execution. India's political leadership has got a strong handle on the opportunity of Education. India has a knowledge COMMISSION headed by a World class & renowned expert; a Ministry of Human Resource Development and a solid centralized University Grants Commission. India is spending 3.5 of GDP on EDUCATION, AND $11.5 billion dollars on Higher Education.
