University of Karachi has established a Computer Lab at the Department of Library and
Information Sciences, specifically meant for Visually Impaired Students.
According to Chairperson of the Department, Prof. Malahat Kaleem Sherwani lab is equipped with four latest computers and special softwares for blind, that is, Jaws 2 and Open Book as well as the audio equipment to make it accessible for these students.
