Malaysian King to honour Dr Atta ur Rehman

Dr Atta Ur Rehman, Famous Pakistani Scientist and former Chairperson HIgher Education Commission is being awarded an honorary Doctrate Degree from the King og Malaysia, Sultan Mizan Zain Ul Abidin on October 20, 2011.

Dr Atta, who already hold  honorary doctorate degrees by Cambridge University ,Coventry University Bradford University  and Asian Institute of Technology is being awarded again on account of his countless services and achievements in the field of Science and Technology.

The university has made this award in appreciation of your extraordinary and outstanding scientific achievements in the field of organic chemistry and natural products chemistry and for your immense contribution to the development of science and technology education in Pakistan and the Muslim world, read the letter sent by the University of Technology , Malaysia.
