Karachi-School held hostage; Principal Robbed

Karachi: Abbassi Public School (near Korangi Crossing )was robbed on Tuesday- in the presence of 300 students and 18 teachers. The criminals walked out with five tolas of gold and Rs 13,000 cash.

It all initiated with a man entering the school at 11:30am;clutching a 4-year-old girl, whom he claimed to be his daughter called Misha. He made his way into the Principals office putting in the request for the girl's admission. Principal Azra Bano was just about to start carry out the normal procedure of admitting a student when a further two men entered and within minutes Bano was being robbed at gunpoint.
