Deadline for Exchanging Rs.500 note

Karachi: State Bank of Pakistan has announced September 30,2011 as last date for exchanging Rs.500 note. The old Rs.500 note will hold no value after the deadline. Neither will it be replaced with a new one.

The field offices of the SBP Banking Services Corporation, all banks including mirofinance banks are facilitating the public in exchanging the old note with a new one.
